It's our goal for you to experience God's love, encouragement, and fellowship as we REACH, TEACH, and STUDY God's Word. You can expect to be welcomed into a friendly environment filled with believers who are genuinely glad to see you. Our services normally last for an hour and include music and a sermon from our pastor, Kenny Teal.

Our church was constituted in 1898; the first building was built in 1899, with Rev. John Ogle as first pastor. In 1936, a new, larger one-room church building was built using much of the framing from the original building. The first education rooms were not built until 1957 under the leadership of pastor, Rev. Jesse Robinson. Founding families included Garners, McClungs, Whittons, Coalsons, Crooks, Hughes, Rice, Carroll, Woods and Summerville. 

The highest number of converts--to date--was in 1980, after the spring revival by pastor, Bro. Coye Timms. Other pastors who've served include: Hugh Shaw, Thomas Garner, David Lester, Harold Underwood, Ted McPherson, Keith Fennell, Roy King, Roger Parris, Cordell Tibbetts, Ronnie Shirley, Donnie Williams, David Post, Buddy Gentry and Kenny Teal. Each one helped build on the Godly foundation that still exists today. 

The current church building is a result of multiple volunteers from across the southeast, many prayers, and lots of hard work. The first service in the completed building was held on March 31, 1996 with pastor, Bro. Ronnie Shirley.

Helping People KNOW the love of God in Jesus Christ, GROW as disciples of Jesus Christ, and GO share the love of God in Jesus Christ.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always.” Matthew 28:19-20
